ReplyDeleteNice help, but it destroy the workspace, even by importing my projects (plugins project essentially), it broke all the dependancies. It shouldn't take long to correct it but still, is their another way to fix the "An error has occurred. See the log file .metadata/.log.".

ReplyDeleteIn short, delete the .snap file inside the org.eclipse.core.resources folder. Worked for me.

Thanks a bunch. Deleting the whole resources folder, did the trick. I had to reimport all the projects though, but atleast my workspace settings are still intact.

when i open editor in eclipse it shows the error like "an error occured. See the log file. Java.lang.NullPointerException". But the editor is opened.Also it does not display the title of the file name which i open.pls help me to solve this problem.Thanks in Advance

ReplyDeletedont do it ! if you delete your /YOUR PATH TO WORKSPACE/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.resources, you wont be able to see your workspace on your eclipse!!!!
